Simple Salmon Pea Pasta

Yay for Fit Tip Tuesday! I am excited to share a super yummy (mostly healthy) recipe that I like to make to have for lunch some weeks. It is really really easy and only has 4 ingredients, most of which you probably have around your house.

You Need:
2 Cups of Shell Pasta (you can really use any kind, but i’ve found shells work best)
1/2 Can of Peas
1 Can of Salmon
Mayonaise

So you wanna cook the pasta, as per the directions depending on what you are using. Once the pasta is done, drain the pasta. Then put the pasta in a medium sized bowl. Then you want to add your salmon and peas, and mix them together. Then you want to add enough mayonnaise to coat what you have in the bowl, I probably generally use a few large spoonfuls (you really don’t need a whole lot). Then you want to stick it in the fridge and let it sit for about 2 hours so that it has time to chill. Then eat!

I love this recipe because it is easy, and really inexpensive to make. Then it usually will last me for lunch for about a week, which makes it even more cost friendly.

So there you have it a super simple easy delicious lunch recipe!

Recipe: Simple Shrimp Pasta

Ok so I have a recipe to share with y'all today! Now I am going to be totally honest this is not exact by any means but I can provide you with enough information that you can get the gist of it.

So there you have it, easy peasy, and actually pretty healthy. We had it with a side of steamed vegetables to get our veggies in, but next time I make this I think I might modify it and all them in with the pasta. I really like how I came up with this and the fact that it doesn't require too much cooking skill, it's pretty healthy, and it was still yummy. I am slowly learning that "healthy" doesn't mean it has to taste bland, and that makes it easier to work toward my healthy eating goals!

Some Recipe Love

Hey guys! I hope you had a chance to check out my Techie Tuesday post, but here I am back again to share my fit tip for the week, and i'm linking up with Lisa over at The Skinny on Health.

So my boyfriend S & I love having dessert. I also love to bake so generally there are always sweets around. Well since we are trying to eat healthier, our normal sweets (brownies & cookies) are kind of a no no in trying to maintain our healthy eating goals. So I started scouring Pinterest for some healthy dessert options so that we would have to give up our dessert entirely. Can I just say that I hit the jackpot?!

3 Ingredient healthy Berry Cobbler

This was 1, so easy to make considering it only has 3 ingredients. 2, makes enough that we will be able to have it as our dessert for the whole week. And 3 it's delicious! Since this is not my recipe i'm not gonna share the ingredients here, either hop over to my Pinterest to check out the pin, or just go HERE.

I promise you won't regret it. The only thing that I want to note is that I used regular sprite instead of sprite zero cause I am not a big fan of artificial sweeteners. Also you want to mix the sprite and the cake batter before pouring it over the fruit. SO GO. GO NOW. Check out this awesome recipe and then make it because it is that easy. And you can always add a spoonful of vanilla bean ice cream like we did just because it just tastes yummy with the hot cobbler.

Fit Tip Tuesday! Linking up with The Skinny On Health (TSOH)

Hey guys! I know that this makes two posts in one day but I really wanted to join in on this link-up because of the fact that I just started my workout and healthy eating plan and I want to make sure and hold myself accountable. So every Tuesday you will now get two lovely posts from me, my regular link-up Techie Tuesday, and my link-up post with The Skinny on Health (TSOH). So this week I am going to be sharing with you my workout plan, and next week i'll share my healthy eating plan.
Basically my plan is that I workout 3 times a week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I picked these days because I only have one class on these days and if for some reason I don't manage to get my workout in in the morning before class I will still have plenty of time to do it in the afternoon. I wanted the flexibility to be able to work on a last minute assignment or homework in the morning if I  needed to, so it's a win win. As you can also see I am planning on alternating my workout between two days of Jillian's No More Trouble Zones workout, and the C25K running app. I picked to do Jillian's workout two times a week because I think that her workout focuses a lot on what I want to see change on my body. But her workouts are also very intense, they are an hour long and right now I have only gotten up to a little over thirty minutes. So that is why I decided to have a break and i'll be running on Wednesdays so that I still get some good cardio in, but its more of a casual workout than super intense.

So yeah, that's my plan. If you're stopping over from TSOH WELCOME! I hope you'll leave me a comment and take a look around at some of my other posts. And I would be delighted if you decided to follow me!
