You Need to Try: 2 Ingredient Pancakes

Personally i've never been big on things people deem "healthy recipes". This is generally because a lot of the time I find them to be lacking in flavor and I like my food to taste good. So when I initially stumbled across this recipe I was quite skeptical... But it turned out delicious, and it's boyfriend approved! Also I'm linking up with Katie Did What for her healthy habits linkup, so make sure and check that out for more healthy tips and recipes.

Now the original recipe is from Blogilates and you can check it out here>> 2 Ingredient Pancakes

After reading the comments I decided to make a couple simple additions to the recipe and I think that they were better with those additions. So all you need to make these pancakes are 1 banana & 2 eggs. Super simple right? And these are generally items that most of us already have on hand. I then decided to add a little bit of sugar and cinnamon to the batch I made. Now they already have some sweetness from the banana so I didn't add a lot maybe a couple pinches, and then a couple of shakes of cinnamon.

They were really delicious! And simple!

 Just a few other notes....

- They will not taste like a traditional pancake like most people are used to. Personally to me they tasted a bit like french toast, which is not a bad thing.
- Make sure to mash the banana pretty well, you don't want giant chunks of banana. Some people said they put it in a blender for a few seconds but that it makes them thinner and more like crepes.
- You want to heat your pan at about a 4 and after you make the first batch turn it down to 3.
- It won't bubble like a normal pancake before its ready to be turned, the key it to look for the edges to turn lighter then its ready to flip
-These are supposed to be about this size of your fist, any bigger and they will be near impossible to flip
- 1 banana and 2 eggs makes about 7 small pancakes, which is intended to be 1 serving.

For nutritional info check out the Blogilates link above, and they also have an instructional video!

Top with butter and enjoy the easiest pancakes you'll ever make!

Recipe: Simple Shrimp Pasta

Ok so I have a recipe to share with y'all today! Now I am going to be totally honest this is not exact by any means but I can provide you with enough information that you can get the gist of it.

So there you have it, easy peasy, and actually pretty healthy. We had it with a side of steamed vegetables to get our veggies in, but next time I make this I think I might modify it and all them in with the pasta. I really like how I came up with this and the fact that it doesn't require too much cooking skill, it's pretty healthy, and it was still yummy. I am slowly learning that "healthy" doesn't mean it has to taste bland, and that makes it easier to work toward my healthy eating goals!

Some Recipe Love

Hey guys! I hope you had a chance to check out my Techie Tuesday post, but here I am back again to share my fit tip for the week, and i'm linking up with Lisa over at The Skinny on Health.
Fit Tip Tuesday Button
So my boyfriend S & I love having dessert. I also love to bake so generally there are always sweets around. Well since we are trying to eat healthier, our normal sweets (brownies & cookies) are kind of a no no in trying to maintain our healthy eating goals. So I started scouring Pinterest for some healthy dessert options so that we would have to give up our dessert entirely. Can I just say that I hit the jackpot?!

3 Ingredient healthy Berry Cobbler

This was 1, so easy to make considering it only has 3 ingredients. 2, makes enough that we will be able to have it as our dessert for the whole week. And 3 it's delicious! Since this is not my recipe i'm not gonna share the ingredients here, either hop over to my Pinterest to check out the pin, or just go HERE.

I promise you won't regret it. The only thing that I want to note is that I used regular sprite instead of sprite zero cause I am not a big fan of artificial sweeteners. Also you want to mix the sprite and the cake batter before pouring it over the fruit. SO GO. GO NOW. Check out this awesome recipe and then make it because it is that easy. And you can always add a spoonful of vanilla bean ice cream like we did just because it just tastes yummy with the hot cobbler.

5 Reasons why Chinese Food is Bad for Diets

Why is Chinese food just so darn tempting, and bad for diets?

1. Because you can call in and have it delivered 99.9% of the time. Food that I don't have to actually put on makeup and real clothes to go get, uh WINNER.

2. It smells and tastes delicious, and is generally enough food for two meals.

3. Because the rice comes in cute little take out boxes with little metal handles (Am I the only one who likes these?)

4. You don't have to cook dinner, cause someone else is doing it for you

5. I am going to have to run twice as long to make up for the chinese food I ate.
